Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow, briefly rejoins Twitter before being banned once more.

Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, opened a new account on Twitter on Sunday but was immediately banned once more. Last year, he was permanently banned from the social networking site for frequently asserting that previous President Trump had won the 2020 election.
“Greetings, I’m back on Social media. I just have one account, @MikeJLindell. Spread the word by RTing and following, please “Just before noon, Lindell tweeted.

Nearly an hour later, at 5:00 p.m., a Twitter representative informed Fox Business that Lindell’s new account had already been “permanently suspended for breaking the Twitter Rules regarding ban evasion.”
In a video he included, Lindell indicated that other phony accounts were impersonating him and that @MikeJLindell was the sole authentic account.

Before the video and his account were removed, Lindell says in it, “Please share it with everyone you know… so that you can get the word out over at Twitter in case they do take it down.
It is against Twitter’s standards for users to open new accounts in order to get around bans and suspensions, but it is unclear how the site’s policies will alter now that Elon Musk, a self-described “free speech absolutist,” has bought it for $44 billion.

The Wall Street Journal reported this week that close associates of the Tesla CEO said Musk “remains upset that former President Donald Trump is still prohibited from the platform.”
Trump, who also was suspended during the Capitol rioting on January 6, declared he would not rejoin Twitter, regardless of how Musk’s policies change.

Trump told Fox News this week, “I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll enhance it and he is a nice man, but I am going to be sticking on TRUTH.
Musk, on the other hand, declared on Wednesday, “Truth Social (awful name) exists because Twitter suppressed free expression,” and he has promised to make adjustments to his newly acquired business.

This week, Musk stated that Twitter has to remain politically neutral in order to earn the public’s confidence. In practice, this means offending both the extreme right and the far left equally.
