Stocks, US Equity Futures Climb as Dollar Dips: Markets Wrap

stocks and US equity futures climbed Monday as bets were cut back on the speed at which the Federal Reserve will hike interest rates as investors evaluated Chinese promises to boost economic growth.

A measure of Asian shares rose by over 1 percent, helped by a surge in Chinese tech firms. S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and European contracts rose following Friday’s Wall Street rally. Japan is off on holiday.
