What can I do to check the specifications of my PC’s hardware?

For Windows 10

To verify your PC’s specifications, click the Windows Start button, then select Settings (the gear icon). On the Settings menu, click System. Scroll down, and then click About. On this page, you will find the specs of your processor, memory (RAM), and additional details about your system, including the Windows version.

For Windows 7

To determine your PC’s specifications, on the desktop, look for the icon labeled “My Computer”. Right-click it and choose Properties. A window should pop up that lists the hardware specifications of your PC, including processor memory (RAM) and various information about your system, such as the Windows version.
